Today is the first day with the new RonBot working in conjunction with Betting Assistant.

* One click betting on all 3 back and lay prices.

* Option to take profit (or minimise loss) with one click (stake will be auto calculated).
* Dutching stakes automatically calculated (just enter profit required).
* Ladder interface.
* Real time update of prices in Excel spreadsheet.

The RonBot was written by a very helpful member who sent me a PM from the Betting Assistant

forum and the project was completed in less than a week. Many, many thanks Ronnie. It concentrates on using the Excel functionality provided through Betting Assistant for triggered betting. More on that can be seen in a video here. The video was created by Gary Russell, author of Betting Assistant.

The RonBot gets involved in the all races where I have a selection if the following criteria are met.

1. Lay my selection based on the betfair price within a specified odds range in
selected races 10 seconds before the off. Odds 1.1 to 6.

2. Monitor the price in running to identify if the selection has won or lost
based on the last in running price.

3. The stake in the next race is decided based on the outcome of the previous
result. If the previous race was profitable the stake remains unchanged. If
there is a loss then the stake is increased to cover the loss plus the lost
profit (= stake) plus the stake plus 5% for the next race.

4. The objective is to achieve an average profit on every race equal to the size
of the stake on every race which has a selection.

5. 5 runners or less will cancel any interest in the race even if there is a selection.

Today is the first full day after a brief test for last night’s racing. My number of selections are higher than normal but I want to give it every chance to screw up today if it’s going to.
