Maybe our bots could go head to head on Cheltenham week live on air. We could see if we could get a records for the most live commentating botters.

Ray, great to see you mate. Good thinking. I could blame it all on Betfair if it goes wrong. Fancy coming on the show again soon? How’re things going? I’d love a bit of Betdaq balance here.

A live bot contest, now there’s a thought! Get all the bot providers in one room running their own software and using their own personal strategies. Sort the wheat from the chaff.

Yes George. What about Bot TV?

RacingTraders.TV is getting ready and for now is here and Bet Angel TV has gone the YouTube route as well at the time of this post.

What I fancy, though, is live streaming. The same as the radio show. It’ll add an edge. Lee’s looking in to it. I used to do it with the original RonBot a couple of years ago. I stopped because I could never have more than 10 viewers due to bandwidth limitations. I simply couldn’t buy enough and the rebroadcast facility I had didn’t work well then.

But, times have changed. Perhaps we can really get it going permanently this time? Watch this space.

I never saw your original RonBot show. Sorry, but even though I’m into bots, in my opinion Bot TV sounds rather boring. The technical challenge of getting it on air would be interesting but the content could end up more zZzZzz inspiring than the videos put up by bot vendors hehe.

I take your point George. But I think people used to watch mine for reasons similar to when people turn their head at a road crash. The strategy was high risk and they were waiting for the bank to blow. It did get close. In the end the worst losing day was £1700.

After a string of unsuccessful lays the stakes got to the level where all the money didn’t get matched before the off and that was factoring in a price move of 2 points.

You’re right about the technical challenge – I just like doing stuff like this to see it work. And now Lee looks after that we might even come up with a real solution.
