With MOM being without Internet we have been unable to organise the WUBT Radio show and the double competition. We are delaying the competition until the next WUBT radio show (Wed 7th January 2009).

Repairs start on Mediterranean telecoms cables

Work began yesterday to repair the cables torn by a ship’s anchor in the Mediterranean, disrupting internet and international telephone service as far as the Middle East and South Asia.

Someone asked via emil about these gravatar things we have enabled in our blog, so I though I would post the answer here.
A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an avatar image that follows you from blog to blog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on blogs?
