BetTornado is betting and trading software designed specifically for the Apple iPad. The software makes use of the Betfair API to give you access to your Betfair account and the most up to date prices available.
BetTornado has several modes designed to suit all types of betting styles, as well as a smart menu and bookmarks for quick navigation, and a mini watch window enabling you to keep an eye on up to 4 selections while viewing a different market.
Bet Mode
Bet Mode displays 3 back and 3 lay prices for each selection, enabling you to place a back or lay bet in a manner very similar to the familiar Betfair site. All markets for the event are shown on the same screen in all modes, so in the screenshot above you can see both win and place markets for this race.
Trade Mode
Trade mode has been designed with the trader in mind, with very fast 2-tap betting via the popup shown in the above screenshot. The betslip panel has been dispensed with to allow room for more odds, and the ladders scroll sideways. There is a hedge feature and unmatched bets can quickly be moved using the arrows on the popup.
Watch Mode
Watch mode has been designed for anyone who likes to keep an eye on prices on selections from several different markets at once. Whether you are watching unmatched bets, waiting for a specific price for an arb, or just wanting to follow the price of a horse or football team in running, the watch window allows you to do this, with the main market you are working on just a tap away. The format is similar to Bet Mode and the graph featured in this screenshot can be accessed in all 3 modes.
Browser Mode
Tornado has a built in browser where you can surf the internet without leaving the app. This is useful for checking scores, and was designed with arbing and matched betting in mind. Again the market you are working on is just a tap away.
Training Mode
For those who are uncomfortable with using software like this for real without some practise, and those who want to test a system without risking real money, Tornado has a training mode. You can use all of the features of the software but your bets are made from your training bank and are not sent to Betfair.
